To ensure the longevity of your Sinotruk engine and maintain your warranty, please follow these technical guidelines:
Pre-Installation Flush: Before mounting the engine, ensure the vehicle’s radiator and intercooler are thoroughly cleaned to prevent old debris from entering the new system.
Oil Priming: Fill the oil filter and prime the lubrication system before the first start. Use only high-grade CF-4 or CH-4 15W-40 diesel engine oil.
Coolant Check: Use a 50/50 glycol-based coolant mix. Never use plain water, as it leads to internal corrosion and scale buildup in the liners.
Break-in Period: For the first 2,000 km, avoid running the engine at maximum RPM for extended periods. Allow the piston rings to seat properly by varying speeds.
Turbocharger Care: After a long haul, let the engine idle for 3–5 minutes before shutting it down. This prevents "oil coking" in the turbocharger bearings.
