Technical Installation Notes

• Gas System Integration: Before mounting the T12.42, verify that the High-Pressure Regulator and Gas Filter are clear of any contaminants. Ensure all CNG piping is high-pressure rated and leak-tested using a methane detector after connection.

• Cooling System Requirements: Because CNG engines run hotter than diesel counterparts, we recommend a complete flush of the radiator. Use only OAT (Organic Acid Technology) long-life coolant to prevent scale buildup in the narrow cooling channels of the T12 head.

• Electrical Calibration: Ensure the vehicle's ECU is flashed with the correct mapping for 420HP output. Check the wiring harness for the spark plug coils, as vibration during transit can occasionally loosen the primary connectors.

• Spark Plug Gap: Before the first start, verify spark plug gaps are set to exactly 0.3mm–0.4mm. Natural gas requires a very precise spark for efficient combustion under load.

• Oil Selection: Use only specialized CNG Engine Oil (low-ash). Using standard diesel engine oil will lead to premature valve recession and spark plug fouling.
