Genuine SINOTRUK HOWO Turbocharger – OEM No. 082V09100-7410 for WD615 D12 Engine

This is a genuine SINOTRUK turbocharger (OEM No. 082V09100-7410), built for HOWO heavy-duty trucks fitted with WD615.47 (371 HP) and D12 series diesel engines — including 6×4 dump trucks, tractors and mixers. It uses a Holset-type centrifugal compressor wheel with fully-floating journal bearings and a waste-gated turbine housing matched to the original engine mapping.

Installation Notes

  • Pre-install check:Before fitting, verify the replacement turbo part number matches your old unit — photograph the OEM tag on the old turbo if unsure.
  • Oil supply:Flush the engine oil feed line; install a new oil feed banjo washer and, if equipped, a new oil return gasket. Never reuse clogged oil lines — oil starvation is the #1 cause of turbo failure.
  • Prime the CHRA:Fill the oil inlet port with clean engine oil of the correct grade and rotate the compressor wheel by hand until resistance is felt — this ensures bearing lubrication on first start.
  • Mounting:Tighten turbine and compressor flange studs/nuts to the factory torque spec in a criss-cross pattern; avoid forcing misaligned exhaust piping which can crack the turbine housing.
  • First start:Crank the engine without firing (disable fuel or ignition momentarily) to build oil pressure, then start normally. Let the engine idle 2–3 minutes before shutdown during the first 500 km to allow turbo cooling/oil drainage.
  • Recommended practice:Replace the air filter and check the intercooler for oil accumulation when installing a new turbocharger.
