Critical Installation Steps:‌
Clean Surfaces:‌ Degrease rod eye and bush housing with isopropyl alcohol.
Press Fit:‌ Use hydraulic press (max 15-ton pressure) – apply force evenly to outer diameter.
Alignment:‌ Ensure oil hole (Ø4mm) aligns with rod lubrication channel.
Clearance Check:‌ Verify 0.035-0.085mm radial clearance with plastigauge.
Lubrication:‌ Flood with SAE 15W-40 oil before pin insertion.
Torque Specs:‌ Connecting rod bolts – Stage 1: 90Nm ±5Nm, Stage 2: 90° rotation.
Run-In:‌ Operate engine at 1,800 RPM for 20 minutes after replacement.
